I was fumigated yesterday
Posted on Thursday October 4th, 2007. Get the Feed or Leave a TrackbackYesterday the municipality came by to fumigate houses for Den Gay fever. Diego, my host brother came in my room and told me we had to leave the house so they could fumigate. I started packing up my stuff to head to the office, but as I was finishing I heard this loud leaf blower sound coming from outside. I opened my room door and saw just this huge puff of white smoke coming into the house. I kind of panicked for a second not knowing what to do, but then I just threw my shirt over my mouth and ran through it for the door. The guy was pretty surprised to see me come out of the house. So at least now I’m pretty sure I won’t get Den Gay fever, although I might get cancer from those chemicals.
